The actress was quite a sight in her designer gown with an asymmetrical hemline.Unlike fellow Desi girl Sonam Kapoor at Cannes, Freida Pinto brought just the right amount of drama by way of her gorgeous Oscar de la Renta couture gown to the Cannes red carpet.

Freida too was attending the Cannes premiere of American western drama Homesman, on May 18.The actress, who also took part in a L'Oreal photocall with fellow brand ambassadors Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Eva Longoria and Natasha Polly, has always had a keen eye for what works for her petite body.

And although the gown sort of blended in with the red carpet, Freida completely nailed the look.Freida opted for minim Realistic makeup and slicked back hair to go with her outfit.

Back from her L'Oreal photoshoot, the actress posted a picture on Instagram and wrote, 'Beauty in diversity! That is a little part of our L'oreal family.

Freida, who hasn't had a movie release in close to two years, has been quite a hit on the French festival red carpet ever since her debut in 2011.

Here, she reveals her eye-popping metallic heels that she paired with her bright gown with golden accents.Prior to the Homesman screening, Freida attended the premiere of Saint Laurent in an equally glamorous Michael Kors gown.The gown, featuring feathers and sequins, was quite the head turner too.The actress teamed her glam gown with deep red lips and wavy, side-swept hair.
